Ethiopia Gedeb Huke Natural Coffee – Strawberry & Tropical Fruit Notes
Ethiopia Gedeb Huke — Natural Process
Tasting Notes: Tropical Fruit • Strawberry • Pink Lemonade
SCA Score: 87.63 — Specialty Grade • Roast: Light • Process: Natural • Grade 1
From the Highlands of Ethiopia
Grown by over 600 smallholder farmers in the Gotiti kebele of the Gedeb region, Ethiopia, at elevations between 1,950–2,150 meters. The cherries are naturally processed and carefully sun-dried on raised beds to develop the vibrant, fruit-forward flavors this region is famous for.
Every bag traces back to the Huke Washing Station and the Yonis family's Project Direct initiative, which has funded schools in the Sidama region. When you buy this coffee, that work is what you're supporting — directly.
What You'll Taste
Hot: blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry up front with a bright pink lemonade lift. As it cools, the cup opens further — guava, passionfruit, mango, and tangerine with a creamy, candy-like finish. Remarkably clean for a natural process. Zero muddiness.

Best Brewed As
Pour over • AeroPress • French press — the full fruit complexity shows best at lower temperatures and slower methods. Rest 10–15 days post-roast for pour over, 2–3 weeks for espresso. Brewing too early mutes the profile. This one is worth the wait.
